Is the cabin ready for the next booking?

Short-term rentals along the Guadalupe and the Comal run hard in summer and sit empty in January. Our checklist covers the eight things we check before a busy season — thermostats, filters, drains, freeze protection and the rest.

Questions

Before you call

Is Sierra a finishing or remodelling company?

No. Building Finishes is part of our name. We work only on heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Do you work on short-term rentals?

Yes. Guest properties are a third of what we do: thermostat limits, filters on a turnover schedule, drains and pre-season checks.

My upstairs never cools. Is the unit too small?

Sometimes, but leaky attic ducts are a more common cause here. We measure before recommending equipment.

Do you work on restaurants and shops?

Yes. Rooftop units, make-up air and exhaust, planned maintenance and tenant improvement work.

Will I see a price before work starts?

Yes. Repairs are priced in writing after diagnosis, and replacements are proposed in writing.

Which areas do you cover?
